Richard Neupert, President
Richard has been involved with Ciné ever since it was founded by Brigitta Hangartner. He coordinates the Film Studies program at UGA and is the Charles H. Wheatley Professor of the Arts and a Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor. He is also the proud father of Sophie Neupert, Ciné's volunteer paper shredder. A specialist on French cinema and animation Richard Neupert enjoys discussing recent independent and foreign films as well as Hollywood classics with the marvelous Ciné audiences.
Jeff Bishop, Treasurer
Ben Davis, Secretary
Currently a Cataloging Librarian at UGA, Ben also worked as a projectionist in a variety of movie theaters for many years. He longs for the days of watching actual film prints in theaters. He is married to Jessica Davis and has two children, Wyatt and Lydia. Ben has a B.A. in Film and Media from Georgia State University and a Masters in Library Science from the University of South Carolina.

Jeanne Ann Davidson
Jeanne Ann Davidson is a Systems Analyst for the Board of Regents University System of Georgia. She has been a board member & volunteer for the Young Designers Sewing Program, an Athens-based, non-profit organization serving young people living in poverty. She is also a working artist active in the Athens arts community. A longtime member of Cine, she has been an active participant in Cine events since its inception.

Kate Fortmueller is an assistant professor in the Department of Entertainment and Media Studies at the University of Georgia. She keeps busy teaching courses on media industries and writing about media workers, and co-organizing Ciné Club events.

Elizabeth Lyle

Elizabeth has been an enthusiastic fan of Ciné since moving to Athens with her husband David (an Athens native) and two sons in 2013. She recently retired from her position as an Assistant General Counsel at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C., and is currently pursuing her interest in writing fiction. She plays second violin in the Athens Symphony and also plays tennis on an USTA league team based in Bishop Park.
